COMMON QUESTIONS |
Hoang Hai is an emerging Vietnamese luthier who seamlessly blends the cherished Spanish tone with the Japanese pursuit of perfection in crafting exquisite guitars. Beyond prioritising impeccable tonal quality, the 26-year-old is deeply passionate about the aesthetic appeal of his instruments, viewing each guitar as a handmade work of art. Drawing inspiration from Japanese craftsmanship, Hoang Hai meticulously observes their precision. Based in Ho Chi Minh, he places significant emphasis on the choice of materials–his guitars feature raw wood from Europe as well as high-quality rosewood from Vietnam. Waiting time for his custom-made guitars: up to six months.

~Notable~
Hoang Hai’s guitars have a very rich tone often seen in top Spanish guitars – little wonder since the guitars of Ignacio Fleta are the young luthier’s inspiration. Hoang Hai combines the warm, rich Spanish timbre with the near-flawless finish of Japanese workmanship for an instrument that sounds as good as it looks. Each guitar he makes is, in his own words, a reward to the guitarist who plays it. Read more about Hoang Hai here. |
